This Grand Venetian console and mirror was made in Venice, Italy, during the late 17th century, circa 1680. It features a polychrome and gilt finish with a hand painted faux marble top above four carved legs. The legs are each carved as abstracted mythological seahorses. The elegant console and mirror is carved wood with scrolls, shells, and foliate designs decorated with a rich brown polychromed and gilded finish.
