Pair of English Oak Elizabethan Style Console / Side Tables, 19th Century

This Pair of English solid Oak Elizabethan Style Console / Side Tables are Renaissance Revival Period. The Elizabethan Style Console Tables have one inch thick solid oak plank tops attached with handmade rose-head nails. The Renaissance Revival oak tops are resting on plain molded paneled friezes with Gothic Arch Skirts. The paneled friezes are mortise and tenon into six elongated, turned and fluted Baluster Legs. The six Elizabethan turned Baluster Legs are hand-carved with reeded tops, turned fluted arch urns, turned stacked rings, and five sided block feet. The Renaissance Legs joined with plain molded stretchers that are pegged with mortise and tenon. These Elizabethan Style Console / Side Tables would make great bedside tables / nightstands for grand king-size beds. These Renaissance Revival Console / Side Tables would make great end tables for large sofas or work great in an Entrance Hall.
