A Sophisticated Neo-Classic Parcel-gilt and Verde Painted Italian Lyre base marble top table / console made in the 19th Century. This Classical Italian Lyre Base Marble Top Table / Console has an exquisite gray veined Carrara Marble Top inset into a Giltwood Decorated Boarder. The Marble Top sets on a rectangled Verde Painted Apron. Each side of the Apron has a carved Giltwood Decorated Center of a Rosette with flanking Laurel Leaves. and Giltwood Rosettes on each corner. The Table Top is supported on two exquisitely carved wood Classic Roman Lyres painted Verde with Giltwood Incising and Highlights. The Classic Lyres sit on a Plinth having a Giltwood Highlighted Stretcher with a Giltwood Acorn Finial in the center. The Plinth Base rest on four Giltwood Ball Feet.
