English Regency Brass Inlaid Rosewood Bookcase with Brass Mounts, 19th Century

Regal Regency rosewood bookcase with two glass front doors. This British rosewood cabinet has brass string inlay on top with brass clovers in the corners. The frieze has a intricate designed brass inlay flanked by two rectangular brass string inlays and two brass inlaid eight pointed stars above the columns. The glass bookcase doors have brass inlaid clovers in each corner and a reeded brass astragal strip dividing the doors. The solid rosewood columns are fluted and brass-mounted. The bookcase is on a base with step-back base with brass inlays and supported by reeded bun feet.
